Get started in 5 minutes
Make your first call to the 221 API without signing up, then create a free key for a larger quota.
Make a first call, without a key
No sign-up needed: copy the example in your language, or send the request with "Try". Without a key, you get 100 calls per day and per IP address.
The GET /v1/jours-feries route lists Senegal's public holidays, with their
status and sources. Add ?year=2026 to filter by year.

The response is JSON. The RateLimit-Remaining and RateLimit-Reset headers
give the number of calls left and the time before the reset, in seconds.
Create a free key
Sign in to the 221 Pay dashboard, create a project, then a key. The dashboard is a separate application from the API: this link opens the one of the environment serving this documentation, the same as the base URL in the next step. The secret is shown only once: copy it right away. Details are in Authentication and keys.
Call with the key
Add the Authorization header: the quota goes from 100
to 1,000 calls per day. API_URL is the base URL, https://apps.orvlabs.com.
Set both variables, then run the call.
export API_URL="<base URL above>"
export API_KEY="sk_221_pay_test_…"
curl "$API_URL/v1/jours-feries?year=2026" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $API_KEY"
