WAXAL is a speech corpus for African languages, built for speech recognition (ASR) and text-to-speech (TTS). It holds about 1,250 hours of transcribed speech and over 180 hours of single-speaker TTS recordings. Wolof is included in the TTS part, provided by AIMS Senegal.
